A Spark of Hope

Cinderella, still sleepy, once again awoke really early to lots and lots of work - so much that it took four hours. She woke up at 2:00 am that morning so she could finish her chores and wouldn't be late to school.

After finishing her work, she sleepily trudged up the stairs to have a nap before school.

Cinderella went to school that day tired, hungry, and needing to 'go'.

Meanwhile, while Cinderella & her sisters were at school, her Stepmother decided to go to the park, meet people, and throw a party that evening.

Cinderella's Stepmother went home to buy balloons, a buffet table and a new expensive mirror.
After Cinderella's school ended, her teacher had asked her to bring some permission slips to the city hall. Hoping to earn an A in school, Cinderella agreed, still tired from little sleep the night before, and brought the slips. After leaving, her school performance had increased. She had finally earned an A in school!

Cinderella then rushed home to complete her chores and to have a nap before the party started. She knew that there would be a lot of cleaning up to do after the party.

The guests started to arrive, and the party begun. Cinderella, of course, was not aloud to participate and had to watch from the sidelines. Cinderella was especially hurt when Alto arrived and played video games with the other kids, ignoring Cinderella.

She approached Alto and struck up a conversation with him when her step-family was distracted. Alto said he didn't know she lived here, and he didn't know that Anastasis and Druscella were her sisters! They hugged and went off to play tag outside and in Cinderella's shed, since Cinderella couldn't play with her friends in the main house.

The party eventually ended, and everyone went home. Cinderella finished cleaning up the house, had a quick dinner of leftover Peanut-Butter and Jelly sandwhiches, and went to go to sleep, although she found that her toilet was broken. She quickly mopped up and went to bed.

The next morning, Cinderella woke up after a good nights sleep. She removed her small pouch of money - all the money she has, and checked how much. She had $20. Cinderella decided to save up for her very own teddy bear after seeing her sister's' teddy bears while cleaning up. Cinderella made all the beds up in the main house, then left for school, excited, since she had earned an A the previous day. Surprised, she figured out her sisters have decided to skip school that day.

Cinderella worked hard at school the whole day. Meanwhile, her Stepmother decided to take her daughters out for a special lunch, praising them for their B in school. Druscella ordered Dim Sum, Anastasis ordered Ratatoullie, and their mother ordered a cookie.

That afternoon, pleased with her high marks, Cinderella ran all the way home. On the way, though, she came across an apple seed.

She decided it would be nice to start her own private garden, and from now on she would keep an eye out for seeds. She did her chores, homework, had a quick dinner, the same leftovers as the night before, then ran out to behind her shed where only she could see the garden.

Cinderella was in for a HUGE surprise!
There was already a fenced area, so she stepped inside...

There was already a garden that had been forgotten about, and it was full of pretty flowers!
Cinderella was delighted!
Although, she realized, didn't know how to garden yet. She left the seed in the flower field, deciding that she would plant it when she got older. Cinderella went to bed that night happy and full of food.
